The CMS and The Joint Commission Dietary Standards 2017: What Hospitals Need to Know

This program will focus on Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service (CMS) hospital conditions of participation (CoPs) on dietary, food, and nutrition services. Our speaker will review three guideline changes that went into effect in April of 2015, the C&P process for dieticians, participation requirements and common deficiencies to look for in hospitals. Ms. Calloway will also discuss the provision of care chapter standards related to dietary and The Joint Commission (TJC) dietary tracer information, as well as the DNV Healthcare dietary standards.
