The United States Pharmacopeia (USP) is a compendium for drug information that sets the standards for drugs in the United States. USP Chapter 800, Hazardous Drugs-Handling in the Healthcare Setting, specifically addresses the safe handling of hazardous drugs to promote patient and worker safety as well as environmental protection. This webinar will discuss the major components of USP 800, such as engineering controls, personal protective equipment (PPE), and ongoing training and monitoring of staff and facilities.
