Congress rewrote the federal tax code last December for the first time in 31 years with sweeping changes that affect charitable and investor-owned hospitals. This will explore these changes from the perspective of charitable and investor‐owned hospitals, analyze the financial and operational impact these changes have for the health care industry and evaluate strategies for minimizing the burdens and maximizing the opportunities that tax reform creates.
