This program expands access to high-quality, hands-on training tools that strengthen clinical training capacity, workforce readiness, and enhance patient care. Simulation equipment is infused into sixteen nursing education sites and includes high-fidelity mannequins and virtual-reality tools to provide hands-on, competency-based clinical training in realistic environments.
The initiative expands rural education capacity, so more students have access to high-quality simulation experiences, and prepares nurses for rural health care settings, helping address workforce shortages across Nebraska.
