Dr. Abbey will discuss the basic operational processes for provider-based clinics and hospital provider-based clinical activities, and will discuss the various requirements under the provider-based rule relating to physician supervision requirements. He will review supervisory requirements for provider-based services, and how these requirements have evolved. Also, special circumstances for CAHs will be identified, and importance of documentation and RAC audit issues will be reviewed.
