How Hospitals, Physician Practices, Nursing Facilities, Hospice & Palliative Care Programs Can Help Each Other Succeed in the Age of MACRA
CMS is ahead of schedule in implementing performance-based provider and practitioner payments, and Congress gave the agency a powerful new set of tools in the Medicare Access and Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act (MACRA) that will go into effect soon. ACA and MACRA built the architecture to reward and penalize providers and practitioners according to quality and efficiency performance. Very significant payment cuts will hit physician practices hard if they do not actively begin preparing now. With thoughtful preparation, hospitals, physician practices, and other providers can help each other improve care and prosper. This webinar will identify some examples of potential mutually beneficial efforts tied to CMS’ preferred performance measures under the MACRA law.
