ICD-10 was implemented in the United States almost one year ago. We will take a look at the current CMS and industry statistics on the impact of ICD-10 to productivity and denials. We will discuss strategies for improving coding accuracy and productivity as well as reducing denials. We will explore common ICD-10 coding struggles that are being reported from hospitals and physicians and provide coding guidance for these difficult scenarios. Finally, we will look ahead to the significant updates to ICD-10, which are set to be released in October.
