Last November, the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015 made significant changes to Medicare’s reimbursement for services furnished in hospital off-campus provider-based locations.  As required by the Budget Act, CMS recently proposed rules implementing the Budget Act’s reimbursement changes.  

This webinar will cover the scope and implications of CMS’ proposed changes to provider-based reimbursement at off-campus provider based locations. The webinar will also cover a number of critical but unresolved issues impacting hospitals that are operating or planning to open off-campus locations. In addition, the webinar will cover the recent legislative proposal to amend the Budget Act to provide relief for provider-based locations that were under development at the time the Budget Act was passed and for cancer centers.
