Rural EMS and COVID 19: Info and Discussion

Join SIM-NE to discuss COVID-19 and how it relates to rural EMS agencies. The Facebook Live event will begin with two short videos reviewing the proper donning and doffing of N-95 respirators. The videos will be followed by a panel discussion with rural EMS specific Q&A session. We are grateful to have the following panelists as part of the event:

- Dr. John Lowe: Assistant Vice Chancellor for Inter-professional Health Security Training and Education; Associate Professor of Environment, Agricultural and Occupational Health, UNMC College of Public Health

- Dr. Eric Ernest: Medical Director for State of Nebraska EMS; Emergency Department Staff Physician, Nebraska Medicine; and Assistant Professor, UNMC Department of Emergency Medicine

- Mr. Kalen Knight: Nursing Professional Development Specialist, Nebraska Medicine

You do not need to register to view the event. However, if you wish to receive EMS continuing education credit you must register for the live event ahead of time online at https://bit.ly/3dgrc8J . You will also receive pre and post event surveys via email. BOTH will need to be completed to receive your continuing education credit..
