Join our guest speaker as he discusses the routine prevention measures and response/recovery actions taken to a HAZMAT incident involving the railroad system.

Target Audience
This webinar is intended for physicians, nurses, first responders, healthcare coalitions, emergency managers, federal and state partners and other professionals throughout Region VII (Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska).

Webinar Objectives
Discuss prevention measures needed when transporting hazardous materials • Describe the importance of obtaining internal and external resources for developing and maintaining hazmat education in response and recovery • Articulate how to protect your community's health and minimize negative outcomes when responding to hazardous incidents • Discuss recovery measures to restore normal operations as quickly as possible in the event of an incident
